If you are riding around the St Helens / Warrington / Liverpool area from early September 2011 onwards, a new independent coffee shop Caffè & Co. has opened in Rainhill Village (just off the A57 Warrington Road and just of J7 M62). With ample parking for copious amounts of scooters, you will be guaranteed a warm welcome from Vespa enthusiast and owner Neil.
Serving outstanding artisan coffee from the stunning La Marzocco 3 Group espresso machine which was hand built in Florence, you can relax in unusual and inviting surroundings whilst enjoying a carefully created home cooked full English breakfast or simply a sandwich.
Caffè & Co. holds a prominent position in the village centre, surrounded by many other retail shops, pubs and services with ample seating area together with a bar.
Pop in and say hello, if the scooter’s on the front, i’m in…!
The economy isn’t getting any better, petrol prices still increase, pay freezes, increasing food costs…something has to give. With many households having 2 and 3 cars, you can probably afford to give one up in favour of a Vespa scooter.
With extremely low running costs, you woul dbe crazy not to consider it. Based on a 125cc Vespa scooter that will do around 70 mph, you will get in the region of 80 mpg, road tax at £15 per year and insurance of around £150 based on a 40 yr old male. Compare that to your car!
Not only that but it’s like jumping up from a Fiesta to a Ferrari because a Vespa scooter is certainly a head turner giving you instant super chic credability!
So it’s a win win all round. Take a look at our used Vespa scooters now and grab yourelf a bargain and a Life!
With all the price increases, VAT increasing to 20%, fuel price increases and so on, save yourself a fortune in 2011 and consider dumping the car in favour of a scooter. Not just any scooter though, a Vespa scooter!
Not only will your street cred increase by several points once you drop the Fiesta in favour of a Vespa but you will be liberated!
You needn’t fork out a fortune on your first Vespa, you can get yourself a used Vespa for a few hundred pounds but it depends exactly what you need or expect. Would it be for commuting, just fun, days out, or all of these? need a small engine that will do little over 40-45 or something a little more powerful taking you to perhaps 60-70?
Great thing about Vespas is that for example a Vespa 125 cost just £15 a year to tax, insurance for an average 40 yr old is around £140 a year and it will give you around 80mpg!
It’s really a no brainer and you will be guarenteed endless fun too on your head turning Vespa!

There is no doubt that a Vespa scooter is desireable by many and there is no doubt that Vespa is a very strong brand that does an outstanding job of saying a multitude of things about its owner.
But what about depreciation? is it possible to make money out of a Vespa scooter? well recent models have reached the dizzy heights of around £4200 for 300 GTS Super which in scooter terms is a lot of money – but this is a Vespa. Compared to the average car, depreciation is very minimal. As a Vespa scooter owner, my 3 year old GTS with around 7000 miles has probably lost about 27% of it’s value compared to an average car which could lose anything upto 70% over the first 3 years and in the current climate, even more.
The Vespa scooter will become even more desirable as the economy tightens, fuel prices increase, taxation increases and insurance increases.
Of course vintage Vespa scooters command a pretty penny, even those in poor condition. A well taken care of desirable model can easily fetch in excess of £4000.
So get on the band wagon, get yourself a Vespa scooters, save £££ now, save on depreciation and potentially have an investment in the garage for the kids…! Take a look at our wide range of Vespa scooters now.
